This is Amery's new favorite toy to play with. Amery can sit up really well now and only falls if she gets distracted. The toy is perfect because it is curved and I only have to put a pillow behind her.

The monster ate her foot, but they kissed and made up.

She is up and she is ready to crawl. Amery is so close. She rocks around in this position and then flops forward. She hasn't quite got it yet. She had a determined look on her face when I snapped this pic. You can also see the little bruise on her forehead from her accident the other day:(

Amery is always finding new toys to play with. For the past couple weeks she likes to pretend that she is shy and covers her face when something is funny. She also sticks her fingers in her mouth when she laughs.

My delicious birthday cake that Dan made me. It was soooo good. I had a nice day today even though I am feeling a little old.

She made a break for it. She did look at me when I called her name though. Amery can move herself where ever she wants to now. She can not be contained.

Our poor baby hurt herself. Both Dan and I saw it happen, and it was too quick to stop. Amery rolled over and bonked her forehead. She has her first injury:(

This video shows how close she is to crawling. Today Grandpa and Grandma Slick, Joe, and Melissa came over to visit. I didn't get to take any pictures though. Amery ate up all the attention.

Amery was being silly and throwing herself backwards in her jumperoo this morning. She likes to look at her toys from all angles.

Today Uncle Joe came over and I cut his hair finally! I told him it was too distracting and it needed to go. Then I made him sweep it up.

Dan and I went to lunch with Will and Chelsea. Amery got to sit in a high chair for the first time at a restaurant.

Today Amery hung out in her jammeys in her crib. She loves to touch the designs on her sheets, toys, blankets, and shirts. We also tried sweet peas today and she liked them. So now she likes sweet potatoes, bananas, and sweet peas. She is not so keen on green beans and carrots.

Amery has been saying this word for a little while now. She used to only say it sporadically, but now it is her new favorite sound to make. She will repeat it when I say it to her. I love it!!

Amery loves sitting up now. She wants to be doing it all the time. When we go out people always say that she is really smiley and that she has big blue eyes.

Today was a long day. Amery didn't sleep very well last night and she has been a little cranky today. We think she might be teething again or going through a growth spurt. The picture doesn't really match the caption. Whoops.

This morning we went for a walk and then ran an errand this afternoon. Amery has been kind of cranky today, so I thought this pic would represent her mood.

I don't think that she likes green beans. I agree with her. She also figured out that she doesn't have to swallow what is put in her mouth.

Today we went to Lee's house to check out his new pool. I took a pic of Robyn, Bryce, and Branyt. Bryce was clinging on for dear life.

Today Grandma came over and watched Amery while we cleaned. She fed her cereal, played with her, and put her down for a nap.

We tried sweet potatoes for the first time today. The video shows the 3rd or 4th bite. I think Amery liked it!! She also got to eat in her high chair too. She looked so small in there:)

Today was a busy day. Amery discovered a cool new toy. She is also showing off her fancy foot skills in this video. She uses them like extra hands.
