Amery went to the park with her long time friend Mason today.

Lunch

This morning I took Amery to the gym with me. She spent 10 minutes clinging on to my neck and screaming whenever the child care lady tried to talk to her. Amery has been there before and really enjoyed playing with the lady that works there. Apparently NOT today though. Oh well, we went home and played in the back yard. I fed Amery her favorite meal for lunch today.

This is the chair that I rock Amery in when she doesn't want to go to sleep. I haven't had to do that for a while though.

Playing in the backyard

Amery, Squirt, and I played outside for a little bit yesterday. She likes to explore, but very tentatively. She does not run wild when she gets outside. I kind of wish she would and burn off some energy. She likes to be wild inside the house for some reason. Squirt had the right idea.

Feeling better

Amery is all better now. She had a rash for a couple days after her fever broke. The doctor said that she had a virus that causes those specific symptoms. It is common in young children.

Sick Amery

Amery has been sick lately. She had a fever Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. She seems to be doing better today. I took her to the doctor on Monday and Amery absolutely hated that appointment. She cried and screamed the entire time she was examined. The doctor ordered a urine test to make sure Amery did not have a bladder infection (she doesn't). So, it seems that she will be fine. She has been playing and acting normal today. After her bath tonight, I took this pic. She is shoving her baby into her toy car. She thought it was funny to do that.

Happy Easter

She loved finding eggs. We hid 12 and she found the first 7 or 8 right away and then she just wanted to play with them. She eventually found the rest. We put cereal, raisins, and rice cakes in the eggs.

Then we went and ate with Grandma at the Machine Shed. Amery made faces at all the people walking by.

Then we came home and played with the fun new toys.

Crackers

Amery had fun with the crackers while I was getting her dinner ready. I came out and discovered what she had been up to. It was pretty funny. I can't turn my back on her for a second.
