Sometimes eating makes Amery sleepy. She got mad at the end of the video because I wouldn't let her play with the camera. She is obsessed with pushing buttons on the camera.

Breakfast

This morning Amery ate cheese, grapes, and Chex. Yes, I peel the skin off the grapes. She won't eat them if I don't.

This is Amery's latest smile. She scrunches her face and squints her eyes.

Slippers

Amery loves her slippers. She constantly wants me to put them on and then take them off.

Amery crashed off of one of her favorite toys today. She quickly found another favorite toy though.

I know the outfit does not match, I need to do baby laundry.

Valentine's Day

Grandma came over and pushed Amery around on her mickey toy while Dan and I went out to eat. Then Amery tried on her new jammies, but quickly became sad becuase she is working on getting a new tooth. Dad was able to relax her before bedtime though.

Saturday

We went on a trip on Saturday to Cedar Rapids. Amery took her nap in the car. She also brought home a new friend.

Snow

Amery got to "play" in the snow for the first time and she hated it. She fell down and then cried the whole 3 minutes we were out there. Maybe next winter it will be more fun.

Friends

Amery's friend Garrett came over to visit today. They played together and Garrett fed Amery some raisins.

Dr. visit

Amery went to the doctor on Tuesday for her one year checkup. She is doing really well. She weighs 23.8 pounds and is 31.5 inches tall. They pricked her finger and drew some blood to test her iron levels and to test lead levels. The hemoglobin test came back a little low so the doctor wants Amery to take a vitamin. The bottom picture show Amery right before she ripped off the band aid.

Squirt and Amery
